W.A.L.T Reflect on our experiences
On the 21st of October [Friday] we went to Bromley dump to learn about compost and where to put certain rubbish what in rubbish bins The whole of room two came and some parents: Jackie, Sarah, Shelley. Our instructor name was Georgina and she was the one who was teaching us about what to put in our bins! We learned how glass turns into roads, and did rotations! One of the rotations was taking the worm poo out of the soil this one was really hard because there were so many worms hiding in their own poo! Eww!!!! Another rotation was getting the worm tea and feeding it to the plants! And the last rotation was tearing some news paper and wetting it for the worms! Some of us got to hold worms we also made wet newspaper for the worms and we learnt how to make good compost!
Here are some pictures!
