Symmetry Art!!!

 W.A.L.T Create Symmetrical Art.

In Math we have been learning about Geometry, particularly symmetry. We have been learning about geometry for a while now so we decided to do something fun with it and create some symmetrical art. It was really fun!!!!!!!!! What we had to do is draw a picture on a piece of coloured paper and cut it in half then you should have half of a picture then cut the half of the picture out then stick them on opposite sides then you get this.

Symmetry Sculpture!

 W.A.L.T make a sculpture that is symmetrical.

This paper sculpture is symmetrical because if I cut it in half it would look the same on both sides. It is the same on both sides because I have done the same on both sides. By the way, yes it is meant to look like a car.

Ducky Grief!!! ]:

In this picture it shows a strong message, the message is ducky [the duck] is in grief!! Since so many poor people dyed in Covid lock down I decided to make a poster if favour of them!

Ducky is wearing black because he is in grief of his sister the one he has a picture of on his phone. His sister dyed of Covid 19 in lock down thats why he is wearing a mask!

Writing on Plastic pollution!

The Pollution of Plastic!

Did you know that eight million whole tons end up in the ocean every year!!!

Plastic bags have been a problem for a while now, we need to help stop it. We need to reduce its impact on the environment because it is rapidly killing the Earth.

Plastic is a problem because of how long it takes to decompose, single use plastic is the main problem because you use it once then throw it away then it takes years and years to decompose. Some animals mistake it for food, other animals get their beaks trapped in it so they can't eat or they get stuck in it so they can´t hunt, all because of us, and what we are doing right now.

 We can fix this by stopping using plastic and using other materials instead, like paper instead of plastic so we will have paper bags instead of plastic bags. All of the super markets have stopped using plastic bags and started using decomposable [big word] bags, but there is still a long way till all of the plastic bags are gone from the supermarkets or even just the world.

In conclusion, plastic bags have a horrible impact on the Earth because we humans have used too much plastic and we need to save it in time before the time runs out, plastic is so bad for the Earth and it is rapidly dying out!
