Writing on Plastic pollution!

Here is my writing on what is happening to our Earth and how we can save it. Tell me in the comments if you like it or not or how I can improve!!!

The Pollution of Plastic!

Did you know that eight million whole tons end up in the ocean every year!!!

Plastic bags have been a problem for a while now, we need to help stop it. We need to reduce its impact on the environment because it is rapidly killing the Earth.

Plastic is a problem because of how long it takes to decompose, single use plastic is the main problem because you use it once then throw it away then it takes years and years to decompose. Some animals mistake it for food, other animals get their beaks trapped in it so they can't eat or they get stuck in it so they can´t hunt, all because of us, and what we are doing right now.

 We can fix this by stopping using plastic and using other materials instead, like paper instead of plastic so we will have paper bags instead of plastic bags. All of the super markets have stopped using plastic bags and started using decomposable [big word] bags, but there is still a long way till all of the plastic bags are gone from the supermarkets or even just the world.

In conclusion, plastic bags have a horrible impact on the Earth because we humans have used too much plastic and we need to save it in time before the time runs out, plastic is so bad for the Earth and it is rapidly dying out!
